This wedding takes the cake for having the most originality in my book. The reasons:
* the groom wore Chucks (with no socks coz he forgot to bring socks) instead of the usual formal shoes.
* the groom sang as his bride walked down the aisle. although this is the second wedding i attended where the groom did the same thing, this one is more sentimental. since the guy was a rocker and not the dramatic kind [note to self: would definitely want this on my wedding;)]
* during the recessional, the couple walked down the aisle with Bob Marley singing in the background.
* the venue for the reception was pitch black save for some lighted candles. the mood was perfect for the venue they chose.
* they prepared a very entertaining program during the reception with song and dance numbers from the entourage, the groom and his brother, and the couple.
* the garter was worn by the groom instead of the bride and he stripped down to his knickers to the tune of Careless Whisper in order to get the garter. hilarious!
It was definitely a wedding to remember:)
