food for the cam

{La Maison, Ayala Terraces - April 2009}

I did my first ever food photo shoot for La Maison. I scored the shoot through one of the investors of the restaurant. Laysho, I have friends in high places. Nyahahahaha:D Not sure if they are gonna use the shots that I took but I definitely enjoyed eating the food after taking a picture of it. Hehehe. The free food was more than enough to compensate me for my afternoon of picture taking:)

One thing I learned from that shoot is that lighting is everything. I gotta get me one of those umbrella lights. hehehe. That is if I want to be serious in this food business. Hmmmm... the jury is still out on that one. But hopefully, that will not be my last one. I want a part two:D more food!!!

lomo sunrise

{Celestial Garden, Banawa Cebu City - April 2009}

Last Good Friday, my family and I went to Celestial Garden in Banawa for our annual Way of the Cross. We left the house at around 4:00 am. Started praying by 4:30 am. After the 14 stations, this was the view that greeted. Appreciating one of God's creations is great way to cap off a morning of prayer.

p.s.
I sssoooo lurve the colors of lomo:)

wish granted

{Squatter's Area Under the Lahug Bridge, Cebu City - February 2009}

I've always envisioned taking a picture of this place with a lomo cam when I was still lusting after one. I knew it would be a great subject for the colors that were unique to lomo. After months of salivating, I finally got my very first lomo cam:) Since I am a newbie at this lomomania and a certified cheapo, I settled for a Holga camera (but still secretly wanting an lc-a. hehehe).

Looking forward to doing more lomo!:)

p.s.
if nahan mo manghatag ug gift nako, dawat ra kog 120 nga films:D
