"How much of human life is wasted on waiting."
I have always wanted to photograph interesting subjects. However, I haven't had that much chance to go out and do street photography which for me, is where you get to shoot interesting subjects. However, while I was with my family to celebrate the death anniversary of Tatay, I saw this woman sitting all alone amidst a crowd of people. She looked melancholic and I just couldn't resist not taking a photo of her. After taking a few candid shots of her, she noticed me and was posing while my camera clicked. I think she liked the attention and kept on smiling. After our on the spot photo shoot, I thanked her for her time and she in turn gave me her toothless smile and continued on staring into space. If only I had more guts in me I would have done an instant interview also. It would be interesting to know the story of her life. I am sure she lived a full life which is evident in her life lines. Maybe next time when I am bolder:)
