yum yum yum!

"The crabs that walks too far falls into the pot."

Salivating over this uber delicious crabs. Waaaaahhhh! Pure torture on my part. I wish I could get my hands on some seafood over the weekend. I just have to settle with looking at pics at the moment. Faet!
Looking at these crabs makes me wonder if there are clinical trials that uses crabs as subjects. That would surely change the way I look at crabs. Hehehe. Hopefully, there are none though coz that would truly suck:(

In memoriam

{ Nalusuan - January 2008}

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

oblation

{UP Tacloban - May 2006}

Mi Ultimo Adios (2nd stanza)

En campos de batalla,
luchando con delirio,
Otros te dan sus vidas,
sin duda, sin pesar,
El sitio nada importa:
cipres, laurel o lirio,
Cadalso o campo abierto,
combate o cruel martirio,
Lo mismo es si lo piden
la patria y el hogar.

blast from the past

Thought of as the "mangkukulam" capital of the Philippines, Siquijor has a lot more to offer than just love and other maleficent spells. Their white-sand powdery beaches is just one of them. Taken during the Independence weekend of 2005. One of my most memorable laags of all time.
