from afar

Human beings are funny...
they long to be with the people they love but refuse to admit it openly.
Some are afraid to show even the slightest sign of affection because of fear.
Fear that their feelings may not be recognized or worse returned.
But one thing about human beings that puzzle me the most is their conscious effort to be remotely connected to their object of affection,
even if it kills them slowly within.

ever after

There's just something about weddings that makes me dreamy. Joy's wedding was by far the dreamiest (if there is such a word) I have been. The wedding flowers were to die for. They were beautiful:) It made me think of how my BIG day will turn out. I want one as fairytale-like as Joy's. Hahaha. As usual, suya-on;) ahihihi. But before my mind wandered even farther, I just focused myself on taking great pictures. All on manual mode, mind you:) So proud of myself. Hehehe. This is just one of my many shots. For some reason, I love this pic. Nice man di ba?;) Will be posting the rest soon:)

summer rain

It has been a weird summer so far in terms of the weather. It has been raining cats and dogs for a couple of days already. I am definitely not complaining since I prefer waking up to this kind of weather. Great for lazy weekends:)

Photo taken on the plane just after landing in the SG airport. My attempt at taking a picture of the downpour outside the window. It didn't turn out as I imagined it would be. Oh well, there's always a next time:)

thumbs down

Argh! Biggest disappointment ever! Joan and I were really looking forward to this movie. After seeing so much hype over this we assumed it was another Star Cinema blockbuster but it was just all hype and nothing more. The cinematography was bad, the dialog a bore and the acting was just all so cutesy for my taste. Argh!!! 140 bucks down the drain. tsk tsk. For the first 30 minutes of the film I was still waiting for it to be better. Unfortunately, it only went downhill. If Anne was not so HOT, I would have walked out the cinema. But her acting was super OA. I don't like her being this cutesy.

The writers should have taken a writer's degree program. Maybe the story would have been better. I actually don't have anything nice to say about the film (except for Anne's hotness), so if you plan to watch it, better brace yourself for a big disappointment. What was MTRCB thinking when they gave it a B rating?!? Well, Joan also gives it a B... for boring. wahahahaha!
